Bhopal, October 18: Congress has released its affidavit for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. In this, special attention has been given to farmers, women, and youth. Congress has made 1290 oaths in this affidavit. The affidavit release program for the Assembly Elections 2023 was organized at Ravindra Bhawan in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. In this program, Congress State President Kamal Nath said that when the Congress government came to power in Madhya Pradesh in the year 2018, the loans of 27 lakh farmers were waived off in the first installment and the people of Madhya Pradesh are witness to this. If the Congress government comes to power again, simplification of government and governance will be the main objective. We are also determined to make strong administrative arrangements to fulfill the affidavit. He has also given the slogan of Congress for the upcoming elections – “Congress will come and bring prosperity.”
While talking about farmers, Congress State President Kamal Nath said that Madhya Pradesh’s economy is based on agriculture. Therefore, farmers will be given separate priority by the government. Taking a revolutionary decision for the farmers and their agriculture, we have taken an oath that we will buy paddy from the farmers at the rate of ₹ 2500 per quintal. We will buy wheat at the rate of ₹ 2600 per quintal and will also work to increase it to ₹ 3000.
Kamal Nath also announced a scheme “Gau-Dhan” scheme. He said that under this scheme we will buy cow dung at the rate of ₹ 2 per kg. Making an employment announcement, he said that 2 lakh youth will also be recruited by the government. One lakh youth will be employed by creating separate posts. Apart from all this, we will also start the “Yuva Swabhiman” scheme. We will provide accident and health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh. An assistance amount of Rs 1 lakh 1000 thousand will be given for the marriage of daughters. ₹1200 will be given under the Old Age Pension Scheme and also announced the “Meri Beti” scheme for daughters. In which ₹ 2,00,000 will be given from the birth of daughters till their marriage. It was also announced that work will be done to make the state an IT hub.
Kamal Nath further announced the launch of the scheme ‘Bring Medal – Get Post, Bring Medal – Become a Crorepati’ to encourage the players of the state. He said that I am worried about the pride of the state.
Further talking about the future of the players, he said that if our government comes to power, we will organize IPL matches in the state and will also work on forming an IPL team. We will also work to provide the right to health, right to housing, right to water, right to social justice, right to food, and right to minimum employment. Apart from this, justice will be done for contract and outsourced employees, and reservations about outsourcing jobs will be taken care of.
Regarding the earlier promises made by Congress, Kamal Nath said that whatever guarantees have been given earlier will also be fulfilled. The promise of giving Rs 1500 per month to women will be fulfilled, Rs 500 to Rs 1500 will be given under the Padho Aur Badhao scheme, gas cylinders for Rs 500, farmers’ loans will be waived off, OPS for employees, etc.
Adding to all this, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh said that the difference between Shivraj and Kamal Nath is that Shivraj only talks in the air and shows dreams to people, but Kamal Nath also does what he says. Whatever he promises, he fulfills it.
He said that whatever rights are given by the Constitution, all of them will be taken care of. Social justice and interests of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and all religions will also be taken care of.
Responding to all this, BJP State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that Congress had not presented an affidavit but a letter of deceit, fraud, lies, and deception. Addressing Kamal Nath as Corruption Nath, Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that when there is a tussle between Corruption Nath and Mr. Bantadhar and a fight is going on between them, then this affidavit has become just a formality.
