Srinagar, Aug 12: A jawan of the Central Reserve Police Force died of bullet injuries in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
CRPF officials said that a CRPF jawan was found lying in a pool of blood after gunshots were heard at around 1.50 pm today near the godown of Authority of India at K Chersu village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Due to a bullet injury, the jawan died on the spot, officials said that the identity of the jawan was Constable Ajay Kumar, a constable of 112 battalion. Officials said that after the completion of medico-legal formalities, investigation proceedings have been started.
