New Delhi, December 5: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday expressed grief over the loss of life and property due to the impact of cyclone ‘Maichong’ in Tamil Nadu. He urged the Central Government to provide all possible assistance to the affected states.
In a post on social media, Kharge said, “It is sad to see the impact of Cyclone Michong in Tamil Nadu, where precious lives were lost. The cyclone is likely to make its presence felt in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Puducherry and may cause heavy rains in Jharkhand.”
