Greater Noida, September 16- The lift of an under-construction building in Greater Noida fell from a height of 80 feet. In which 4 people died on the spot and 5 people were also injured. It is being told that all the deceased are laborers and all of them were working on this under-construction project. The responsibility of this under-construction building project was on Amrapali Group. It is being said that when this incident happened, all these workers were going from bottom to top in the lift while working in the under-construction building.
The accident happened in Amrapali Dream Valley Housing Society which is in Bisrakh, Greater Noida.
9 laborers were riding in the lift, going from downstairs to upstairs to work. As soon as lift F8 and lift F9 reached between the floors, she suddenly broke free and fell. It is said that the lift that all the laborers were using to work was a lift carrying goods. That’s why there were no springs in it. Due to this, the lift came down rapidly and this accident happened. As soon as the lift came down, there was a bang. Hearing this sound, all the people working in the building panicked and quickly reached the accident site. There were 9 people in that lift. All the nine people with whom this accident happened were taken to the hospital. Doctors declared 4 laborers dead and the remaining 5 laborers who were injured are undergoing treatment there.
The names of the 4 laborers who died in this incident are Aris Khan (22), Vipot Mandal (45), Arun Tanti Mandal (40), and Istaq Ali (23) and the names of the laborers who were injured are Arbaaz Ali. , Asul Mustaqeem, Abdul Mustaqeem, Kaif, and Kuldeep Pal. Among the injured workers, the condition of two workers is said to be critical. He has suffered a serious head injury. The District Magistrate and the CEO of the authority reached the district hospital to take stock of the accident. After that, the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar, and the Police Commissioner reached the spot to inspect the reason behind the accident. After inspection, he said that whatever safety standards should have been adopted at the work site were not adopted. Given the lack of safety standards, an order was issued to seal the entire project.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over this accident and has also given instructions to investigate and take action as soon as possible.
After this incident, the officials were ordered to seal the entire project. Also, all the laborers who had come here from different states and districts to work, have been instructed by the police to vacate the place. About 2,000 laborers had come here from other states and other districts to work on this project. They had been living and working here for the last several months. When they were asked to vacate the place, they lost even their hope of living. Now those two thousand laborers have a problem as to where they will stay, where they will go, and what they will eat. It is very difficult for him to say all this.
