Prime Minister Narendra Modi took an elephant and jeep safari in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve on Saturday morning. During his two-day visit to the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his journey with an elephant safari in the Mihimukh area of the Central Kohora Range within the Elephant Safari Park. After that he also enjoyed a jeep safari in the same area.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accompanied by Park Director Sonali Ghosh and other senior forest officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kaziranga National Park on Friday evening, where he received a grand welcome.
On social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi posted that, I was in Kaziranga National Park in Assam this morning. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is located amidst lush greenery. Kaziranga National Park is home to the majestic one-horned rhinoceros and the national park is rich in diverse flora and fauna.
Prime Minister Modi has urged people to visit Assam. He urged people to experience the warmth and natural beauty of the people of Assam.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate some major central and state development projects worth around ₹18,000 crore during his two-day visit to Assam today.
After this, the Prime Minister’s program is also going to be held in Arunachal Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh from March 8 to 10.
