Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari, Haryana and Gurugram Metro Rail Project today. On Friday, Prime Minister Modi is going to visit Rewari, Haryana. During this, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development projects related to health, rail, urban transport and tourism sectors worth more than Rs 9,750 crore.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the Gurugram Metro Rail Project, the total cost of its development is said to be around Rs 5,450 crore. The project, with a total length of 28.5 km, will connect Udyog Vihar Phase-5 to Millennium City Center and the Rapid Metro Rail at Maulsari Avenue station near Cyber City will merge into Gurugram’s existing metro network.
An official said, “The project is an important step towards realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of providing world-class environment-friendly mass rapid urban transport systems to the citizens.”
In line with the vision of the Prime Minister, the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari, Haryana, to be built at a cost of approximately Rs 1,650 crore to strengthen the public health infrastructure across the country, is being laid.
AIIMS Rewari will be developed on 203 acres of land in Majra Mustil Bhalkhi village of Rewari.
This includes a 100-seat medical college, 60-seat nursing college, 720-bed hospital complex, 30-bed AYUSH block, hostel accommodation for UG and PG students, residential accommodation for faculty and staff, auditorium, night shelter, guest house etc. There will be facilities.
An official said that AIIMS Rewari is being established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), which will provide quality, holistic tertiary and comprehensive care health services to the people of Haryana.
Regarding the facilities provided at AIIMS Rewari, the official said that patients in 17 super specialties and 18 specialties including cardiology, nephrology, gastro-enterology, neurology, urology, medical oncology, neurosurgery, surgical oncology, endocrinology, burns and plastic surgery. Care services included.
The institute will also have facilities like emergency and trauma units, ICU, diagnostic laboratories, 16 modular operation theatres, pharmacy, blood bank etc.
Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the newly constructed experience center Jyotisar, Kurukshetra.
This museum has been built at a cost of approximately Rs 240 crore. The museum is spread over 17 acres, including more than 1,00,000 square feet of indoor space.
Dedicating it to the nation, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of many railway projects.
During the visit of Prime Minister Modi to Rewari, Haryana, Bhiwani-Dobh Bhali Railway Line (42.30 km), Kathuwas-Narnaul Railway Line (24.12 km), Rewari-Kathuwas Railway Line (27.73 km), Manheru-Bawani Kheda Railway Line (31.50 km). Will lay the foundation stone of doubling projects.
