Jaipur, December 13: Within 15 minutes, the name of Bhajan Lal Sharma was decided as the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. This announcement was unexpected. As soon as his name was announced, there was silence in the meeting. Party sources have given this information. he became MLA for the 1st time. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had reached the meeting as a central observer. Senior leader and former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje proposed the name of Bhajan Lal Sharma. After that, Rajnath Singh asked the MLAs if there was any other name then the MLAs could tell.
It is believed that the decision to propose the name of Bhajan Lal Sharma was of the high command. After which no MLA suggested any other name and the decision on the new Chief Minister was taken in just 15 minutes. According to sources, the decision to make Bhajan Lal Sharma the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan had already been decided in Delhi, and a sealed envelope was given to the observers. This envelope was opened in the legislature party meeting. Vasundhara Raje and State President C.P. Rajnath Singh had talked to Joshi in a hotel before the legislature party meeting.
If sources are to be believed, Rajnath Singh was instructed by the high command that only Vasundhara Raje would put forward the proposal. Rajnath Singh was specially sent with this responsibility. So that he can get the name of the new Chief Minister proposed by Vasundhara Raje. It is believed that Premchand Bairwa, who was made Deputy Chief Minister, is inclined towards Vasundhara Raje.
