Gurugram, Aug 23: Nuh Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata said that the Nuh administration has categorically refused to allow the Brij Mandal Jal Abhishek Yatra of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) to be held on August 28.
On Tuesday evening, the Nuh administration canceled the permission for VHP’s visit.
On August 13, a maha panchayat of Sarv Hindu Samaj was organized in Pondari village of Palwal district, in which they announced that the Braj Mandal Yatra, which was stopped due to communal violence, would be held on August 28.
The yatra to be held on August 28 in Nuh was to start from Nalhar Mahadev Temple, go to Firozpur Jhirka, and later to Singar in Punhana.
A VHP leader said, “We know that the administration has not given permission but the members of the organization have said that they will continue the yatra.”
Six people, two home guards, and a cleric were killed in a clash in Nuh after a VHP procession.
