Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in Kerala. The Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Front government had announced that adequate steps were not being taken by the Center for Kerala, hence a protest would be held on February 8 at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. A day after this announcement, allaying Pinarayi Vijayan’s concerns, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched projects worth Rs 4,000 crore in Kerala.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this is reflected in his initiation of strategic projects in Kerala at Indian Oil Corporation (NS:IOC) and Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this while inaugurating these projects. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi was saying this, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was sitting on the stage.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about these new projects that innumerable employment opportunities will be created from these new projects.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only inaugurated the LPG import terminal of the Indian Oil Corporation, he also inaugurated the 310 meter long drydock built as per international standards as well as the International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF) at CSL. It is the country’s first full-fledged pure ship repair ecosystem.
