New Delhi, Aug 26: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is on a one-day visit to Athens.
During this meeting, he insisted on promoting the friendship between Greece and India and also talked about various moods.
During the meeting, Modi and Katerina Sakellaropoulou appreciated the growth in economic engagement and bilateral trade in recent years and hoped for more in 2023.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed in Greece with Indian Dhol and dance.
This is the first time in 40 years that the PM of India has gone on a tour of Greece.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in a tweet “Glad to have met President Katerina Sakellaropoulou in Athens. I and Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou discussed ways to boost sustainable development and also discussed several issues which will strengthen the India-Greece friendship. She congratulated India on the success of Chandrayaan-3.
