Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand and West Bengal on Tuesday. PM Modi’s road show is proposed to be held in West Bengal’s West Bengal at 6 pm. The BJP has accused the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of Prime Minister Modi’s road show, saying that the state machinery and police have been misused by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to disrupt the road show. BJP has demanded the Election Commission to take appropriate action on this. On Tuesday morning, Amit Malviya, joint in-charge of West Bengal and head of BJP IT cell on social media platform X, shared two videos and alleged that Kolkata police are at work. There is no other motive, just to disrupt the road show.
Just a few hours before this, Amit Malviya wrote another post alleging that after midnight, as per Mamata Banerjee’s instructions, at various points along the route of the Prime Minister’s roadshow on the evening of May 28, after midnight. The Kolkata Police is removing the constructed stage. They have all the demands, which they will not refuse, but they will not allow either. Amit Malviya directly accused Mamata Banerjee and said that “This is nothing but open misuse of state machinery. The Election Commission has to come forward to ensure equal opportunities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the first election rally in Dumka, Jharkhand during his election tour of Jharkhand and West Bengal after which he will leave for West Bengal.
In West Bengal at 2:30 pm in Barasat and at 4 pm in Jadavpur, PM Modi will address the election public meeting. Prime Minister will pay tribute to Subhash Chandra Bose by paying floral tributes at his statue around 6 pm. After this they will do a road show in Kolkata North to support the public. PM Modi will pay floral tributes at the statue of Swami Vivekananda at 7 pm after the road show.
