New Delhi, October 21: BJP has released the second list of 83 candidates for Rajasthan Assembly elections. The party has fielded Vasundhara Raje Scindia from Jhalrapatan. Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje Scindia has won the elections from the Jhalrapatan Legislative Assembly four times in the past.
Current National Vice President of BJP and former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje Scindia has won the elections from Jhalrapatan Legislative Assembly in the years 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018. Jhalrapatan Legislative Assembly constituency is considered her stronghold.
The party has fielded Jyoti Mirdha, who left Congress and joined the BJP from the Nagaur Assembly seat. Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, who joined the BJP from Nathdwara, has been declared the candidate. Vishvaraj Singh has recently joined Mewar BJP on 17th October. Vishvaraj Singh is a descendant of Mewar Maharana Pratap.

Out of the 83 candidates who have released the second list of BJP, Rajendra Rathod has got Taranagar, Siddhi Kumari has got Bikaner East, Satish Punia has got Amber, Santosh Ahlawat has got Surajgarh, Kalicharan Saraf has got Malviya Nagar, Narpat Singh Rajvi has got Chittorgarh, Hem Singh Bhadana. Has been declared as a candidate from Thanagaji, Govind Ranipuria from Manohar Thana, and Deepti Maheshwari from Rajsamand.
BJP had released its first list of 41 candidates for Rajasthan on 9 October. Today the party released the second list of 83 candidates. If the candidates from both lists are combined, BJP has announced a total of 124 candidates for the Rajasthan Assembly elections.
