Hyderabad, December 8: New Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy took charge as the Chief Minister of Telangana and also began the first meeting of the State Cabinet at the Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramark and 11 other ministers attended this meeting.
L.B. Anumula Revanth Reddy took oath as Chief Minister at the stadium. After taking oath at the State Secretariat, he arrived with the ministers and took charge in his office located on the sixth floor.
CM performed the puja with his wife amid Vedic chanting by a group of priests. the priests blessed him. After that, he signed some files. This file was brought by Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and other top officials.
On his arrival, Revanth Reddy was enthusiastically welcomed by the Secretariat staff and officials. Revanth Reddy had announced after Congress came to power that the doors of the secretariat would remain open for the common people.
The new secretariat complex was inaugurated on 30 April. The new Secretariat complex has been built with a unique design, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and is built on an area of seven lakh square feet. The complex was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao sitting on a chair in his room on the sixth floor.
Dr. B.R. This integrated campus has been named Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat was housed. This secretariat is six storeyed and an amount of more than Rs 600 crore has been spent on its construction. Entry of the general public is restricted in this secretariat complex.
