September 7 – Trinamool Congress has launched the party’s Information Technology and Social Media Cell given the increasing popularity of social media. In today’s time, the importance of social media has increased a lot. If you want to increase your own and your party’s popularity, it has become necessary to remain active and updated on social media. Seeing and understanding everything, Trinamool Congress has offered a social media cell and the responsibility of all this has been given to a young face, the General Secretary of the youth wing of Trinamool Congress and spokesperson of the party in the state, Devangshu Bhattacharya.
Party sources have told about the inclusion of 37 members in the Information Technology and Social Media Cell. Which has been personally selected by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. It will work as per his guidance and direct supervision.
The main objective of launching the Information Technology and Social Media Cell would be to counter the false propaganda that would be done by the opposition parties in the state against both the state government and the ruling party. Highlighting the development work and achievements done by the party will also be an important goal.
The social media cell has also been launched keeping in mind the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. So that through this the 2024 Lok Sabha election campaign can be taken forward. Election publicity can be done through social media cells. The aim of the state’s ruling party “India” alliance and Trinamool Congress will be to spread its positive image to as many people as possible through this social media cell.
State party spokesperson Devangshu Bhattacharya has expressed his gratitude to Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee, showing his commitment to fulfill the assigned responsibility. Also, special thanks have been given to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

He said, “I will try my best to live up to the trust that the party has placed in me.” As the time for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is approaching, the BJP will increase the pace of its campaign on social media. So we will also have to work very wisely, intelligently, and carefully. Whatever false propaganda will be made, we will have to respond very carefully.
