Kolkata, November 22: Trinamool Congress leader Vicky Yadav was shot dead in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Tuesday. Congress leader Vicky Yadav was a local Trinamool Congress leader. It is being told about the slain leader Vicky Yadav who was a loyalist of Saurabh Singh. Saurabh Singh is the nephew of Lok Sabha MP Arjun Singh.
Regarding this murder, eyewitnesses said that three masked persons arrived in front of the residence of Trinamool Congress leader Vicky Yadav on a motorcycle. As soon as Congress leader Vicky Yadav came out of his residence, masked men fired at least 11 rounds at him from close range.
He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, Bhatpara State General Hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
There is tension in the area where this incident took place.
A large number of police forces have been deployed in that area.
The police have started investigating this matter.
The way the murder has been carried out, it seems that all this has been done by someone through a contract killer. In which a leader of a ruling party was murdered similarly on the open roads.
Local Trinamool Congress leader and panchayat member Saifuddin Lashkar was killed similarly in Jayanagar in South 24 Parganas district on November 16. In retaliation, a person was also “counter-murdered”. 16 houses of local CPI(M) workers were set on fire by an angry mob of Lashkar followers.
Again a similar murder was carried out on 17 November. Trinamool Congress panchayat chief Roopchand Mandal was attacked and killed by some unknown people with a crude bomb.
