Varanasi, November 28: On the auspicious occasion of Dev Diwali, supernatural splendor was seen in the wonderful Kashi. On Monday evening, on Kartik Purnima, more than 21 lakh lamps were lit simultaneously on the ghats of Banaras. This scene looked like heaven. Its witnesses were 150 delegates and their families, ambassadors of 70 countries, and common citizens of the country and abroad. It was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by lighting the first lamp on Dev Diwali at Namo Ghat. 21 lakh lamps were lit on Dev Diwali in Kashi city, information about which has been given by the officials. More than 12 lakh lamps were lit at the crescent-shaped ghats of Kashi. One lakh of these lamps were made from cow dung.
Lamps were lit on the sands of the east coast and the ghats of the west coast. On Dev Diwali, 21 lakh lamps were lit at Kashiwasi ghats, ponds, ponds, lakes, Shastri Ghat of Varuna river, Markandeya Mahadev situated on the banks of Ganga-Gomti, etc. The twinkling of these lamps brought light all around.
On the auspicious occasion of Dev Diwali, Kashi was illuminated with 12 lakh lamps from the government, a total of more than 21 lakh lamps from voluntary organizations and public participation. This was the first time diplomats from many countries saw this supernatural, wonderful, and unforgettable moment before their eyes.
A grand program of Dev Diwali was organized in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion 8 to 10 lakh tourists reached Kashi. In which ambassadors of 70 countries and 150 delegates and their families also participated. The tourism official said that when 21 lakh lamps were lit on the 85 arched ghats of Kashi, the scene looked as if the stars of the galaxy had descended to the ground. The whole of Kashi seemed bathed in the light of lamps. The laser show was organized at Chet Singh Ghat in Kashi. Pictorial information of mythological Kashi and Lord Shiva was displayed at Chet Singh Ghat through the Sound and Light Show with Projection Show. The audience was mesmerized after hearing this. A wonderful sight was seen at the Crackers Show across the Ganges.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed all the guests. The Chief Minister, who was aboard the cruise along with the guests, enjoyed the picturesque view of Dev Diwali.
Maha Aarti of Dashashwamedh Ghat was performed dedicating it to Ramlala. All the devotees who were present here got a glimpse of Ramallah and Ram temple. Also, paying tribute to the brave soldiers of the country, a replica of Amar Jawan Jyoti was made at Dashashwamedh Ghat, and the immortal brave warriors of India were honored with ‘Bhagirath Shaurya Samman’.
Giving the message of women’s power, 21 Archakas and 51 Dev girls performed the puja-aarti of Mother Ganga at Dashashwamedh Ghat in the form of Riddhi-Siddhi.
A live telecast of the Maha Aarti performed at the ghats was done at six major places in the city. On Dev Diwali, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple complex was decorated with 11 quintals of flowers. Similarly, at the time of inauguration, the Kashi Vishwanath temple complex was decorated. Strict security arrangements were made for all the tourists and devotees who were present here on the auspicious occasion of Dev Diwali.
