Singer Rahul Vaidya recently found himself in the spotlight after claiming that cricketer Virat Kohli had blocked him on Instagram. In a humorous video, Rahul suggested that the block might have been an “Instagram glitch,” referencing Kohli’s earlier explanation about accidentally liking actress Avneet Kaur’s post due to an algorithm error.
This remark led to a wave of trolling from Kohli’s fans, with some directing abusive comments toward Rahul’s wife, actress Disha Parmar, and his sister. In response, Rahul expressed his frustration, stating, “Now you are abusing me, that’s fine. But you are abusing my wife, my sister—who have nothing to do with this! So I was right. That’s why you all Virat Kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers.”
When questioned by paparazzi at the Mumbai airport about his comments, Rahul clarified that he referred to Kohli as a “joker,” not “pagal” (crazy). A paparazzo defended Kohli, saying, “Unke paas itna time kahan hoga sir aapko block karne ka” (Where will he have the time to block you). Rahul retorted, “To bas theek hai bas, humare paas toh bahut hai” (Ok fine then, I’ve a lot of time).
