Abu Dhabi, November 28: In a press conference at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on Monday, Abu Dhabi T10 announced the captains for its seventh season, scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 9.
Nicholas Pooran, the West Indies heavy-hitter who led Deccan Gladiators to victory in the last edition, has been retained as the captain by the defending champions. Kieron Pollard and Moeen Ali will continue to lead New York Strikers and Morrisville Samp Army, respectively, after finishing as runners-up in the previous season.

There were changes in leadership for other teams, with Cherith Asalanka taking over as captain for Chennai Braves, replacing Sikandar Raza. Angelo Mathews was named the captain of the Northern Warriors, while Rovman Powell was appointed the captain of the Delhi Bulls. Dwayne Pretorius will lead Team Abu Dhabi, and the Bangla Tigers surprised by selecting Benny Howell as captain.

During the press conference, all the captains expressed their intentions for the upcoming season. Pooran, the leading run-scorer in the last season, emphasized his desire to win a record third title for the Gladiators.
Pollard is looking to get the job done this season, and Moeen Ali will rely on his familiarity with the format to boost Strikers and Morrisville’s chances of claiming the trophy once again.
