New Delhi, October 25: There is doubt over the possibility of Hardik Pandya playing in India’s matches against England and Sri Lanka in the World Cup 2023. India’s fast bowling all-rounder and vice-captain Hardik Pandya is yet to recover from his left ankle injury. Due to this, there is a possibility that he will not be able to play in two ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup matches.
India’s next match is going to be against defending champions England in Lucknow on 29 October. After that, India’s next match will be against Sri Lanka on 2 November in Mumbai. Hardik Pandya is not likely to be included in the Indian team for the match against England on October 29 in Lucknow.
The fourth league match of the 2023 World Cup which was played against Bangladesh at the MCA Stadium in Pune. During that match, Hardik Pandya suffered a left ankle injury while fielding his ball. After this, he left the field due to his injury. Against Bangladesh, he could bowl only three balls, and the rest was completed by Virat Kohli.
