In front of a huge crowd of 46,000 enthusiastic fans, the Indian cricket team made a spectacular comeback on the field like their countrymen, handing England a stunning victory by 100 batsmen. The win enabled India to maintain their unbeaten streak in the 2023 Men’s ODI World Cup.
The Indian national magazine performed brilliantly and continued to take a dig at English journalists. In the match-turner, Ben Stokes tried to catch Shami’s balls but was bowled. England got further signs when Jonny Bairstow’s effort to cut Shami’s ball was improved. Difficulties increased for England when Buttler fell victim to the ball, breaking their dominance.
