Shubman Gill, who has been India’s standout performer in ODIs recently, is currently suffering from a severe fever. According to reports from News18, he tested positive for dengue on Friday. Gill has been dealing with a high fever since his arrival in Chennai.
Medical tests are currently underway, and a decision on his participation in the opening game will be made after Friday’s tests,” said a source from the BCCI who is informed about the team’s situation.
