Kolkata, November 9: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sought a copy of the FIR lodged by the Kolkata Police in the case of black marketing of tickets for the Cricket World Cup 2023 match. The notice was given to the board by Kolkata Police on November 5. In this notice, it was asked to provide information about the processes by which online marketing of tickets is done. Responding to this, BCCI has asked for a copy of the FIR.
Kolkata Police said in this matter, “The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has responded to our notice and a copy of the FIR lodged in this case is being demanded by the BCCI. Board officials say that a copy of the FIR is needed to respond to the notice given by Kolkata Police. Because whatever questions have been asked in this case, it will be easy to answer them by reading the contents of the FIR. Therefore, a copy of the FIR in this case has been sent to him on Wednesday morning. ,
Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) officials were interrogated by officials at the Maidan police station last week in connection with the ticket black marketing case. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is not involved in the marketing of tickets, hence they denied any responsibility in this matter.

In this complaint, the person alleged that BCCI, CAB and BookMyShow are promoting black marketing of tickets for the One Day Cricket World Cup 2023.
