Meta-owned WhatsApp is developing a new ‘Meta Verified’ subscription option for businesses. The new ‘Meta Verified’ subscription will allow business accounts to subscribe and earn the Verified badge.
According to WABetaInfo, the new ‘Meta Verified’ subscription will replace the previous subscription of WhatsApp Premium. Previous subscriptions to WhatsApp Premium included a custom business link and the ability to link up to 10 devices. Both of these features will still be included in Meta Verified memberships.
According to a report, a new setting will be available within app settings in a future update to allow businesses to display a verified badge and subscribe to Meta Verified. So as to allow you to build trust with your customers.
Regarding Meta Verified subscription, the report said that this subscription will be optional and it will be accessible especially for business. Those users who are meta verified will be provided security. Meta Verified Subscribers accounts will be provided with a simple path through which they will be able to easily access support services. This simple path will enable them to solve their problems, get help and solve any problem.
The report states that Meta Verified Subscription is under development for businesses and will be available in a future update of the app.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is bringing a new feature for users. Using this new feature, users will also be able to share music audio during video calls on Android.
The ability to listen to video and music audio simultaneously is now available to some beta testers. Specifically, when someone shares their screen while on a call, the audio they play on their device will also be shared with the other people in the call.
This feature works even in personal calls. So users can enjoy a synchronized audio experience even in one-on-one video conversations.
