September 1 – A comments section is being added to the ‘Now Playing’ screen of YouTube Music. Whose design is being worked on. With the addition of a comment section, users can read and write comments directly from the app. According to a report by 9to5 Google, this new format has been rolled out globally for Android devices and iOS.
When a comment section is added to the ‘Now Playing’ screen, users can type their own content. The comment button is arranged below the cover art. When a user selects this button, a panel will slide up on the screen.
There are also share, save, like, dislike, radio and download icons next to the comments, which were not visible earlier. This was accessible when users tapped on the album cover. For music lovers, YouTube Music last month rolled out the Live Lyrics feature globally on Android devices and iOS.
The lyrics tab currently present in ‘Now Playing’ is being redesigned and upgraded with larger text to make it look more attractive.
