Israeli airstrikes on several villages in southern Lebanon reportedly killed two Hezbollah fighters. Three civilians were also injured in the airstrikes by Israel.
Military sources on the condition of anonymity said that the Israeli army destroyed a house with two missiles in the village of Aita al-Shaab in the border area. A Hezbollah fighter was killed in the attack and two civilians were injured.
According to sources, another Israeli warplane targeted a two-story house in the village of Blida in southeastern Lebanon. Another member of Hezbollah was killed in the attack and another civilian was injured.
Xinhua news agency, citing sources, reported that Israeli planes and drones carried out a series of airstrikes on five towns and villages in the eastern and central parts of the border area. 17 houses were damaged in the attack by Israeli planes and drones.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah has confirmed that it has attacked several Israeli sites.
