Khartoum, September 15- At least 40 people are expected to be killed in an airstrike in South Darfur. South Darfur is located in south-west Sudan. It is being told that this air strike has been targeted at civilian areas and an important market in Nyala, South Darfur. Besides, the famous Al-Malaja Market of Nyala has also been targeted in this attack. An eyewitness told Xinhua news agency that “warplanes carried out strikes targeting the neighborhoods of Texas, al-Riyadh, and al-Sad al-Ali, as well as residential areas.”

The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have issued a statement, in which they have attributed the responsibility for this air strike to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF).
