Washington, September 13: Former US President Donald Trump has demanded the dismissal of the federal judge in the case of sabotage in the 2020 US presidential election. Trump’s lawyers argued that U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan made the comments when sentencing the two defendants. The reference was to former US President Donald Trump’s attack on the US Capitol and the second case against Trump for alleged misuse of government records, including classified documents. According to which Judge Tanya Chutkan believes that former US President Donald Trump “should be prosecuted and punished.”
Lawyers of former US President Donald Trump have filed a petition in the court and said that Judge Tanya Chutkan while hearing other cases, has given her suggestion and said that “Trump should be prosecuted and punished, he should be sent to jail.” Should be put in, which is unfair. Because Trump’s case has not even started yet nor has any proper legal process started. It is unfair to make such a statement without starting the Trump case and without doing the proper legal process.”

Former US President Donald Trump is the only American President who has been accused of criminal cases. He has denied all the allegations and declared himself innocent.
Jack Smith, a special counsel for the United States Department of Justice, accused former US President Trump of changing the outcome of the 2020 US presidential election.
Former US President Trump was indicted on 37 counts in June 2023. He was indicted in August on four charges related to the January 6 incident.
