Los Angeles, October 3: Four people have died in a plane crash in the US state of Utah. Citing the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Xinhua news agency reported that a small plane had taken off from Canyonlands Regional Airport, located in the city of Moab in eastern Utah. The plane crashed in a remote area shortly after takeoff. In which four people present died.
The Sheriff’s Office expressed its sadness in a post on its Facebook page, saying, “It is very sad that four people have died in this accident. The plane’s pilot, North Dakota State Senator Doug Larson, his wife Amy and their two children died in the crash.
Confirming this plane crash, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said through a statement that the single engine Piper PA-28 crashed at around 8:20 pm local time on Sunday night.
North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum expressed his condolences over the deaths of all four in the plane crash and said North Dakota State Senator Doug Larson is deeply saddened by the deaths of his wife Amy and their two children. ,
The accident will be investigated by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
