Beirut-Hezbollah and the Israeli army have had a fierce firefight on the Lebanon-Israel border. The attack involved heavy machine gun fire, artillery, missiles and airstrikes. Lebanese military sources have given this information to the media.
According to Xinhua News Agency, no casualties have been reported so far in this attack.
Sources said that Israeli drones and warplanes carried out nine raids on seven towns and villages in southern Lebanon and three raids on the Lebanese-Syrian border in the east of the country in the areas of al-Qasr, Harmel and Matraba crossings.

Meanwhile, in the Western Galilee on Friday, Hezbollah announced that it would target Israeli positions with missiles and attack targets in al-Marj, al-Rahab, al-Samaqa, Bayad Blida, etc.
Hezbollah said it had targeted an Israeli warplane with a missile, forcing the plane to divert to occupied Palestinian airspace.
Lebanon is on alert after Israel launched an attack on Dahih, a southern suburb of Beirut, on Tuesday. Senior Hezbollah military commander Fouad Shokor was killed in the attack, along with seven civilians.
Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah threatened to retaliate against the attack, saying that the Israeli attack will be responded to at the appropriate time and place.
