Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned home on Saturday morning after presenting India’s perspective at the ‘G7 Summit’ and holding bilateral meetings with leaders of several countries. The Prime Minister held talks on important global issues with world leaders during his one-day visit to Italy and has described the visit as a success.
Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform X that the G7 summit was held in Apulia, southern Italy. It was a very successful day. Discussed various issues with global leaders. Our goal is to work together to create impactful solutions for the benefit of the global community. To build a better world for future generations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a one-day visit to Italy to participate in the G7 summit held in Apulia, southern Italy, where he met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. And also held separate bilateral meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
After this, the Prime Minister attended the G7 outreach session. He interacted with many global leaders including US President Joe Biden after the outreach session. He also interacted with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula de Silva, Jordanian King Abdullah, etc.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi became a part of the G7 summit on Friday, he met Pope Francis and greeted him with a hug at the outreach of the G7 summit in Apulia, southern Italy. PM Modi made his first foreign trip after becoming Prime Minister for the third time. He is part of the G7 summit for the fifth time.
