Following the preliminary results of the election, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a victory speech in Moscow thanking the citizens. The Election Commission has shown him to be the President of the country again in the counting of votes after the elections held in the country.
On Sunday night, Vladimir Putin told his supporters that the victory would make Russia more influential and stronger.
In his speech, Putin expressed his gratitude to the soldiers who are taking part in the war for Russia in the Ukraine war.
President Vladimir Putin described the citizens of his country as the source of power in the country and said that the Russian people are the only source of power in the country and the vote of every citizen is important in determining the direction of the country.
He further said that I will do my best to achieve the highest priority goals.
According to the Election Commission, a record 74 percent voter turnout has taken place in this year’s elections in Russia. 67.47 percent voting in the 2018 elections, which is much higher than this time.
The Election Commission reported that more than 80 percent of votes had been counted as of late Sunday at 1 a.m. Moscow time, with President Vladimir Putin leading the way with 87.15 percent.
