Ukraine and the Netherlands have signed an agreement on security cooperation between the two countries. The document talks about the Netherlands providing military assistance to Ukraine in the year 2024. The Netherlands will provide military aid worth 2 billion euros (approximately $2.17 billion) to Ukraine in the year 2024 and the Netherlands will continue its support in the near future.
Under the security cooperation agreement, the Netherlands has committed to provide Ukraine with modern military equipment such as air defense equipment, artillery and armored vehicles etc. and many other modern military equipment. The Netherlands has also committed to support Ukraine’s air force and maritime capabilities.
Ukraine wants to join NATO and the European Union. The Netherlands has supported these aspirations of Ukraine.
The Netherlands also provided military aid to Ukraine last year. The Netherlands provided 1.6 billion euros (about $1.73 billion) of military aid to Ukraine last year.
