Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been nominated as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh. She has given her statement on the controversy that started over eating beef and completely refuted all the rumours, clarifying that she does not eat beef or red meat of any kind. He said that I am proud that I am a Hindu and all the things that are being spread about me are baseless rumours, in which there is not even an iota of truth.

Earlier, the BJP in Maharashtra had targeted Leader of Opposition Vijay Vadettiwar. The leader of the opposition in Maharashtra accused Kangana Ranaut of eating beef in his statement and said that Kangana likes to eat beef and now BJP has made her its candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Mandi region.
Earlier, Congress social media head Supriya Sreeneth had posted an objectionable post about Kangana Ranaut. However, she later clarified on this post that she did not do this post. Rather, someone else has made such a controversial comment on his social media account.
