Agra, October 12: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived to participate in the Uttar Pradesh Entrepreneur General Conference. Chief Minister Yogi said that whoever plays with the law and violates the rules in the state will not be ignored. This is the third time I am communicating with small entrepreneurs within three months, which is a matter of good fortune.
Referring to the International Carpet Expo organized in Bhadohi, Chief Minister Yogi said that initially after seeing the entrepreneurs there, he felt how they were neglected. India exports carpets worth about Rs 17 thousand crores every year. Which carpet worth Rs 10 thousand crores is exported from Bhadohi, Mirzapur, and Varanasi.
Further, Chief Minister Yogi described small-scale industries as the backbone of the economy and said that small-scale industries play a very important role in the development of the economy. Because it creates more employment at less expense while meeting all environmental standards. Small-scale industry provides an opportunity for economic self-reliance to more and more families in less space along with less expenditure. Through small-scale industries, it has been possible to move people towards self-reliance.
Describing Uttar Pradesh as the base of small-scale industries, he said that Uttar Pradesh has been the base of small-scale industries since ancient times. Different types of industries have existed and developed in different regions. With the inspiration of Modi Ji, the Uttar Pradesh government started the scheme of One District, One Product in 2018 to revive such small-scale industries.
