Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched his third term on Monday by launching Kisan Samman Nidhi. On the first day of his third term, PM Modi signed the file related to the release of Kisan Samman Nidhi amounting to Rs 20 thousand crore for about 9.3 crore eligible farmers. PM Modi took oath of office and secrecy at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening. On Monday morning, he reached the Prime Minister’s Office and started his work.
Every farmer is given an installment of two thousand crore rupees three times a year under Kisan Samman Nidhi. The central government had released the 16th installment of the scheme on February 28 before the code of conduct came into effect.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released 20 thousand crore rupees for more than 9 crore farmers as the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi after taking oath as PM for the third time.
