Because of Suresh Raina’s great performance in the current Legends League Cricket, a reporter inquired as to whether he would return for the IPL 2023. The southpaw, however, responded with an epic statement, “Main Suresh Raina hoon “Shahid Afridi nahi hoon.” Raina is content to be retired after declaring his retirement on August 15, 2020. The former Pakistan captain is notorious for making comebacks after retirement.
“After your performance tonight in Legends League Cricket, everyone wants you back in the IPL.” And Raina responded with a great comment. “Main Suresh Raina hoon,” the former cricketer for the Chennai Super Kings stated. “Main Suresh Raina hoon Shahid Afridi nahi hoon, Retirement le chuka hoon”(I’m Suresh Raina, Not Sahid Afridi, I’ve already retired) he exclaimed, laughing.

In the fourth round of the Legends League Cricket 2023, Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa both smashed unbeaten half-centuries to enable India Maharajas easily chase down 158 against Asia Lions. To give Maharajas their first victory of the year, the openers shared a 159-run stand that lasted the entire game.
With Uthappa scoring an unbeaten 88 off 39 balls with 11 boundaries and five sixes and Gambhir scoring an unbeatable 61 off 36 balls with 12 boundaries, the opening combination tore through the Asia Lions’ attack at the stadium.
