US President Joe Biden has warned the Houthis that if they continue attacks and do not stop their ‘abusive behaviour’, there will be retaliation against them.
Biden made this comment after the US and Britain launched dozens of airstrikes in Yemen overnight.
According to the BBC report, regarding the attack in Yemen, the US President said that the attacks carried out by us in Yemen were successful. They felt that the Houthis were a “terrorist” group.
Regarding the attack, Houthis say that during this attack more than 70 missiles were fired on Yemen.
“The US and Britain have done a foolish thing with this treacherous aggression,” Houthi spokesman Mohammed Abdussalam said.
White House national security spokesman John Kirby said, “We have no interest in going to war with Yemen. He further said that President Joe Biden will neither hesitate nor back down in taking whatever action is necessary to protect international commerce, our facilities and our soldiers.
Regarding Friday’s attacks, the British news broadcaster reported that allies such as Canada and Australia had given their support to the attack.
