Ceasefire talks are going on under the mediation of America, Qatar and Egypt and at such a time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described the military operation in Rafah as necessary to ensure victory in the ongoing war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, speaking to Hebrew media, said that once the Israeli army starts the military operation in Rafah, within a few weeks we will completely win the war and this conflict will end.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not ready to accept defeat and wants to continue the war until it is won. They believe that once we win the war, the war will end.
Regarding the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the Israeli Prime Minister said that out of the 24 battalions of Hamas, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have destroyed 18 battalions. Giving information about the concentration of four battalions in Rafah, he said that by taking care of these battalions, we can ensure our victory in the war and the war can be ended as soon as possible.
The statement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come at a time when talks are going on with the mediation of America, Qatar and Egypt for a temporary ceasefire and the release of Israeli hostages.
Meanwhile, the IDF has presented its plan to the war cabinet, calling for the evacuation of Palestinian civilians from Rafah and the destruction of Hamas battalions in Gaza near the Egyptian border.
“Late Sunday, the Israeli War Cabinet approved a plan to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip,” the Israeli Prime Minister’s office said in a statement.
It is worth noting that more than 1.3 million Palestinians live in the Rafah area, many of whom had fled to this area to escape IDF bombardment north of Gaza.
