Russia is ready to supply gas to Europe through the safe Nord Stream-2. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Germany would not restart operation of the remaining Nord Stream 2 pipe, although Moscow was ready to supply gas through it. This information was given by local media.
In an interview with American media personality Tucker Carlson, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, “Nord Stream-1 was blown up, but this is not just about Nord Stream-1. Nord Stream 2 was damaged, but one pipe is safe and sound. Gas can be supplied to Europe through this pipe. But Germany is not opening it.”
“The Yamal-Europe pipeline is another route, this route is through Poland,” he said, according to the Tass news agency. Supply is also possible through this in large quantities. But this route was closed by Poland.
The Nord Stream pipeline, which delivers natural gas from Russia to European markets via Germany, was seriously damaged after the September 2022 explosions in the Baltic Sea, Xinhua news agency reported.
