New Delhi, November 10: As a measure to deal with the serious problem of air pollution, the Delhi government has decided to make artificial rain and officials have informed that the Delhi government has decided that the consequences of artificial rain will be reduced. The government will bear the entire expense.
On this, a senior government official said that the Delhi government is committed to bearing the entire cost of artificial rain. It is being told that it can be implemented by November 20 after support from the Central Government.
The problem of air pollution in the national capital New Delhi is becoming more serious these days. The Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government is considering providing artificial rain by November 20 through cloud seeding to curb the problem of air pollution.
Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai held a meeting with experts from IIT-Kanpur on the issue of the serious problem of air pollution and during the conversation the idea of artificial rain was discussed.
IIT-Kanpur has submitted the plan to the Delhi government and it is expected that artificial rain will be provided by 20th November.
On the plan submitted by IIT-Kanpur, the government said that the entire plan will be placed before the Supreme Court on Friday and permission will also be sought from the Central Government to cooperate on it.
