Mandya (Karnataka), 23 November (UITV/IANS) | The Karnataka Police on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly raping a minor girl by making an obscene video and blackmailing her. He has been identified as Yunus Pasha, 25. According to the police, Yunus Pasha, a married youth, had befriended the minor girl and gifted her a mobile phone.
Later he started talking to her over phone and clicked her private pictures and recorded her video calls. He came there when the girl was at home with her grandmother.
He threatened to share her private videos and photos on social media and asked her to give sleeping pills to Dadi. When the woman fell asleep, the accused raped the girl.
On returning home, the girl’s parents questioned her when they noticed her changed behaviour. During this he narrated the incident.
Later, he lodged a complaint with the police in this regard.
